If you are diagnosed with cancer, or have a loved one or friend who is, charting a course can be overwhelming. How do you even begin? Where is there help? What can you say? Join us as we navigate the cancer landscape and show how it’s possible to restore balance, find support, and never have to go it alone.

Debra is passionate about patient education and working together with patients and families to address questions related to cancer treatment, symptom management, and decision-making. She graduated from the oncology nurse practitioner program at Yale University’s School of Nursing and has worked in a variety of oncology settings.

Brenna Lindsley
Cancer survivor and patient access service specialist, OHSU

Brenna was 38 when she learned she had breast cancer. Since completing her treatment at OHSU, Brenna celebrated her “Cancerversary” by traveling to Scotland by herself, took up CrossFit and archery in her off-hours, and started a new career as the kind voice on the other end of the phone line: a patient access service specialist at the Knight Cancer Institute.

Keren McCord

Keren McCord, L.C.S.W., O.S.W.-C.
Social worker, OHSU

Keren works with patients and families dealing with leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, blood disorders and stem cell transplants. She’s worked in oncology for nearly 15 years and has extensive experience with individuals and families facing life threatening illness and loss.
